Pádraig O’Dwyer : Managing Director
With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Pádraig has worked in specialist contracting for most of his career and has been involved in projects in Ireland, the U.K. and overseas. He has been involved in the facade industry for many years, having roles in estimating, sales, project management and general management to director level. He has also acted in the role of Bid Manager with a Main Contractor.
Pádraig joined GLF in 2011 and was appointed Managing Director in July 2014 with responsibility for all GLF activities. He also heads the Sales & Marketing Team with responsibility for identifying tender opportunities, overseeing estimating and he continues to be actively involved in contract negotiations and valuations. Pádraig qualified in Engineering at University of Limerick and is a member of Engineers Ireland. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin
Paul Gunn : Technical Director
Paul joined the company in 1996 and was appointed to the position of Technical Director in 2005. He is responsible for the company’s Design and Engineering Teams and works closely with Production and Project Managers to ensure design implementation from conception to project completion. Paul has specialist expertise in detailing and designing complex bespoke façades and has successfully led the Design Team on some of GLF’s most notable and prestigious projects valued in excess of €20m.
Adrian Davis FCCA: Finance Director
Adrian joined GLF in 2009 and became the Finance Director in 2014. Adrian has worked as an Accountant in the Specialist Contracting industry for over twenty-five years. Having trained as an Accountant with the Jones Group PLC, He qualified in his ACCA exams in 1997 and became a Fellow in 2002. His career progressed from Assistant Accountant through to Financial Controller within the Jones Engineering Group. Adrian left Jones Engineering to broaden his experience and gain input to Strategic Management.
Adrian manages the administration and IT functions of GLF. He oversees a robust accounting process that he has designed and implemented including key performance indicators for individuals and projects. This process seeks to minimise risk and exposure for the company and give the business the best opportunity to maximise profitability and to progress with a sustainable growth trajectory.
Barry Gough : OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Barry joined the company in 2014 as Contracts Manager and was appointed to the position of Operations Director in 2020. Barry heads the Project Management Teams with responsibility for overseeing production and installation. He also ensures proper site communications with all relevant departments within GLF. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, he has a degree in Civil Engineering and has delivered façade projects in Ireland, the U.K. and overseas. Barry has specific experience of Unitised Facades on overseas projects. Barry has had a key senior role on many high profile projects within the company to date.
Greg Donaghey : Commercial Director
Greg joined GLF as Commercial Manager in 2018 and was appointed to the position of Commercial Director in 2020. Greg is responsible for Surveying and Estimating and for all commercial matters. He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry as a professional in cost consultancy, as a main contractor and a specialist sub-contractor. Greg has worked in Ireland, the UK and overseas where he was previously Associate Director with Linesight in the Middle East.
David Farrell : Design Manager
David is an Architectural Technician with over twenty-five years’ experience in the Façade Industry. From high-specification office developments in Central London to University and Pharma projects throughout Ireland, David has led the design on a vast array of curtain wall and cladding projects. David is responsible for the Design and Engineering Office and leads a team of CAD Technicians and Engineers who are all highly-trained professionals in the façade industry
Brian Kealy : Production Manager
Brian has been Production Manager with the company for over 12 years. His many years’ experience manufacturing and installing Aluminium Curtain Walling, Commercial Windows, Doors, Rooflights and Louvre Systems ensures the efficient and economic running of the manufacturing plant. Brian’s previous site experience also ensures efficient communications with installation staff. He also oversees the factory floor and warehousing facilities with direct responsibility for employee management and plant maintenance. Brian has successfully completed courses and certification in Theory of Curtain Walling including Fabrication of Curtain Walling and I.O.S.H. Managing.
