Dun Laoghaire Library and Cultural Centre is a significant building on Dun Laoghaire’s seafront. It includes a performance space with seating for 100 people, an art gallery, education workshop space and cafe.

Gunn Lennon Fabrications designed fabricated and installed a range of patinated architectural bronze screens & doors, bronze  anodised screens and louvres, rooflights, automated glass louvres, SEFAR glass Brise Soleil and automated entrances.

In addition to bespoke extruded solutions in both architectural bronze and aluminium, several proprietary systems were provided including Secco, Schueco and Lacker. The project features almost two thousand square metres of glazing, with some units 4.8 metres wide by 3.0 metres high, these being among the largest ever installed by GLF.

The project won the 2015 Schueco Excellence Award for Design & Innovation. It won the 2016 RIBA Award for International Excellence.
